If you’re visiting Houston and have a taste for Greek food then get on over to Niko Niko’s Greek restaurant. This restaurant is reasonably priced at an average of $20 per person. It is recommended for breakfast and brunch and has outdoor seating where you can sit on a nice day. Located at 2520 Montrose Blvd., Nico Niko’s general Mediterranean dishes such as Hummus with pita, falafel, and Tahini. Different variations of Greek salads as well as several types of soup make a great light lunch. Sandwiches are also available for lunch time or for an afternoon snack. Main courses include several seafood dishes such as Broiled Shrimp, Grilled Rainbow Trout and Fried Oysters. If you’re in the mood for meat you have a very large selection to choose from including Baby Lamb Shank, Lamb Kebab and Char Grilled Pork Chops. What would a Greek restaurant be without Mousaka, a casserole made from layers of eggplant, ground beef and potatoes covered in a delicious white sauce.
If you still have room for dessert after your fine meal, no less than 12 Greek desserts can be ordered. The coffee at Niko Niko’s is the only thing that isn’t Greek.
